Bill's BlogWHO ARE THEY?I don’t know about you, but if things don’t change, I’ll be going to the polls on Sept. 14 without much of a clue as to whom to vote for in the Republican primary. We have some very important contests, including governor, U.S. representative, and U.S. senator. Nan Hayworth, who wants to run against John Hall, calls herself a “fiscal conservative” which is a red flag. David Malpass, would-be senate candidate, is endorsed by Sue Kelly - another red flag. Carl Paladino, running against Rick Lazio (the GOP establishment candidate) for governor, looks like the only one of this bunch that I could vote for with nose un-held. Eight days from today, Republican candidates will be chosen by the rank-and-file. If you have information or opinions on any of the candidates for any office, please add them here. Time’s a-wasting.
