Using our new nifty new signs: DA GRADY! Planned Parenthood Covers Up Statutory Rape, we went again to the County Office Building in the City of Poughkeepsie. We had a crowd last week, joined by Rich VanSlambrook, Tom Renoldys, Vincent Ferro,Pat Messina, Ken Shimansky. The new signs are a sandwich board kind, and there was a bit of competition over who would get to wear them.

We gave out the last of STOPP's Child Predator booklets, with so many people at that area smack in the middle of the Business District. An attorney came out of the Courthouse and asked why we had DA Bill Grady's name on the sign, and I explained. It is apparent that the DA is popular with few, if any, lawyers I've spoken to, including this one. He took our literature, and told us that, as a father of girls, we have his full support.

Today was even better. Prior to leaving the offices of PP, Pat Messina noticed a young woman about to enter PP for a pregnancy test. Pat gave her an earfull about PP, I gave her all the literature we had, and she decided not to go inside; not now, not ever! Pat Messina is one of the most effective prolife sidewalk counselors I know. Then we stationed ourselves in front of the County Office Building, which houses the DC Legislature, as well as moving over to the Courthouse. We are being noticed. People came up to talk, and take the literature - while we were at it, we gave out LDI's “Choice Nazi” and “Klan Parenthood” stuff, which STOPP ordered along with the Child Predator booklets. We also gave out the pamphlet about Maggie Sanger. Several black folks came over, who were furious about the Statutory Rape cover-up, and the genocidal actions of PP against that race. We've been invited to go to the Holy Light Pentacostal Church on Saturday, to carry the message to that community! I had been to that church a few years ago, and was invited to carry the word about PP by Bishop Debra Gause. She is a firebrand who understands the damage PP is doing to her people, and preaches against them.

A man I recognized, professional sort, came out of the courthouse and said “God bless you!” Turns out he used to work for DA Bill Grady. He told us to keep up the pressure. THEN, about 4 men came out and said, “Ok, let's see what you have!” The've noticed our pickets…LOTS of people in this city have seen the message about Planned Parenthood. They will continue to see us there, at least once a week.

We are getting the attention of people who would never bother to hear a strictly prolife message. Life Dynamics is spot on about the potential of this effort to close PP down.

Action Item; I have called and emailed the Child Abuse Prevention Center, which we picketed a month ago, to follow up on their ostensible agreement that something must be done about the thousands of children who are NOT protected because of PP's lawbreaking. Call them, at 845-454-0595, and ask to speak to the Executive Director, Cathering E. Hexel, or Barbara O'Dea. If you get voicemail, fine; let's flood them with messages demanding that they take a stand. I am preparing a letter to the papers detailing our conversation with Child Abuse Prevention, and their subsequent non-action.

Child Predator Project Report - Feb.28; March 7 Wednesday, March. 8, 2006

On Feb.28, Linda Cebrian, Vincent Ferro, Ken Shimansky, Pat Messina and myself picketed the front of PP on Church St.. Things were quiet until some nutjob (inspired by Satan himself) pulled his car over and began to push his way through our line saying “You're blocking the sidewalk, get out of my way!” over and over, walking back and forth. Pat Messina responded with “God Bless you”...his answer to this was “GOD HATES YOU!” OK! It got a bit heated, and the cops came. We all thought that PP called them, and when one of them peeked her head out, we all thanked her profusely for caring so much for our safety. Turns out they called the cops claiming that we were blocking a mail truck. The driver of the truck didn't feel blocked at all,and couldn''t understand why PP called the cops. The BEST part here is that PP's harassment was taken by us to be a kind act, and they were deeply frustrated by our gratitude. You can't make this stuff up!

This week, only three of us could make it; Vincent, Pat, and me. But we had even more fun.

It was freezing, and out came 2 PP workers with a banner which said, “HI! We're PP, and We're Here to Help YOU!!”. It was big, but unreadable from the street, since the colors were purple and black. I told them that no one could make it out, and suggested that they make one like ours; red on white. The girl said those were the “colors of Choice”. I said, fine, but no one can read it. The other girl was out with just a thin jacket on. I warned her that she was going to get sick: she said, “No, Germs make you sick”,so I explained that the immune system is challenged by a chill, according to current research, and that any germs would take the opportunity to sicken her. She said, “Oh”. Within about 35 seconds, their picket ended. As they went inside, I cautioned, “Next time, PUT SOMETHING ON!”

Child Predator Project; Breakthrough? Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006

Linda Cebrian, Ken Shimansky, Vincent Ferro, Pat Messina and I demonstrated at the Task Force for Child Protection, on Whitter Ave., off Hooker Ave. in the city of Poughkeepsie.

Last Monday a first page article was dedicated to the work of this organization, their creative and humane treatment of children of abuse, sexual and physical, and their excellent work in forcing child predators to face justice. Just one thing was missing, of coursed; any mention of Planned Parenthood. So STOPP decided to pay them a visit, and through picketing with our wonderful Murasso Signs, to remind them of this oversight.

A student journalist from Mt. St. Mary College happened by, took our pictures, and a pamphlet. After a while, a member of the staff came out, to castigate us for the picket; I tried to explain, her ears were snapped shut. But not more than a half-hour later, one of the directors, whom I have know for years, due to this issue, (back in 2001, when Sen. Steve Saland introduced legislation which would have forced PP to report abuse), and for years before, since I taught 3 of her children piano.

She knew why we were there. The former staffer came out with her, and this time, listened. They told us what we already knew, that PP hides behind a “bogus loophole”, in the words of the formerly hostile staffer, and that it concerned them as well. But what did we want from them, it was asked?

I replied that the group regularly advocates for broader reporting of sexual abuse of children; that however many children they saw in a year, PP betrays in a month, and that a voice from their organization would have tremendous force in forcing PP to report. Otherwise it's just (so far) a couple of “nuts” with picket signs... were there more of us trying to destroy PP using this excellent tool, (as was acknowledged by Jim Sedlak of American Life League in his recent STOPP International report) we could probably accomplish more, faster, protecting the born and saving the unborn. But my friend in Child Protection understood. We asked that their outfit contact Saland, and come out in support of his bill, publicly. They understood the value of this. We will see... but this felt like a breakthrough, to a respected agency. We will now wait and see.

We left soon after, since they had appointments to interview abused children, and we didn't want to add to the trauma these little ones would be feeling, speaking out; telling the truth about their abuse.

Child Predator Project - Activism! Friday, Jan. 13, 2006

As promised, STOPP, in the persons of Pat Messina and myself, took to the streets with our new signs;

PLANNED PARENTHOOD COVERS UP STATUTORY RAPE;

PLANNED PARENTHOOD PROTECTS CHILD PREDATORS.

We began at 10am on Church St. in front of the PP offices. The signs were visible half a mile away. One lady commented on how great the lettering was on the signs; we never found out what she felt about the content.

We stayed for about an hour; Pat in front of PP, me on the corner, setting up the traffic with my Statutory Rape sign, to later read Pat's Child Predator sign. At the corner, I received an unbelievable number of positive reactions. It was so good, I decided it was time to get serious.

Pat and I went to Market St., and demonstrated in front of the County Office Bld. and the Courthouse, the office of our lazy, irresponsible District Attorney. Bill Grady, who pretends to be a protector of the weak, and prosecutor of the evil. He is neither. He and his right-hand man, Ed Whitesell, listened politely when Jerry Moynihan and I, along with counsel for Life Dynamics, Ed Zelinski, tried to get him to do his damn job - investigate PP and it's obstruction of justice. There was nothing he could do.

The reaction at this busy section of Poughkeepsie was astounding! People said things like, “I know about this; this is terrible”. A Black gentleman engaged me in conversation, and couldn't understand why the DA wasn't helping to protect children.

Others came up with “ It's about time!”. “ I'm so glad you two are here!!”

We stayed there for another hour. As we made our way to the car to pack it in, a man followed Pat. He told her how much he supported what we are doing. It turned out that he is a attorney, named Jason Kovacs, from the Kingston area, who was at the courthouse. He gave Pat his card, and offered to help us in any way he could.

Friday is now Child Predator Project Day. Pat and I, and I hope, some of you, will be picketing PP, and the movers and shakers on Market St. We will be specifically targeting the DA. If we can get at least 3 other people, STOPP will be calling the Journal to announce the demonstration. We will get this word out - it clearly touched a nerve. With all the demonstrations I have taken part in, never did I receive this kind of response!

I have been thinking about the original purpose for which STOPP was founded in the first place. Jim Sedlak's comment about “fighting PP”, has led me to clarify for prolifers, and even for myself, why STOPP exists.

Our founding Scripture was Matt 18, verse 6, where Our Lord says, “But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones who believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea.” Many times, Our Lord was not “nice”. He called people names; sons of hell, hypocrites, whitened tombs full of corruption, and on and on. Expanding on this scripture, one phrase I used often in regards to PP was, “It's MILLSTONE time!”

STOPP's whole purpose was to close PP and all its works; sex ed, abortions to minors, parental undermining, and of course, abortion. Jim used to say, “Abortion is just the symptom; Planned Parenthood is the problem.” We defined PP in our early days as “The outfit which corrupts your children, and kills your grandchildren.” We advertised ourselves as a “Prolife, Parent's Rights Organization”.

With our campaign against PP's refusal to report child abuse, we have regained our focus.

Horrible as abortion is, it pales next to the emotional, physical, and most importantly spiritual damage PP wreaks on young people. Conceived in hell, PP's policies have dragged many, if not to hell, then to the power of Satan, the “liar and murderer” from the beginning: to sexual sin, and the misery this causes; in the lack of reporting of child predators, PP consigns children to the hell of sexual exploitation. I have a special expertise in the horrific results of child sexual exploitation, having worked for years in the foster/adoption field...witnessing this sin passed on from the victimized to new victims. Much of this damage cannot, short of a miracle, be undone. It passes from generation to generation. In its wake is, of course, abortion: sexual depravity is at the root of the abortion holocaust. If we want to truly save unborn lives, we must also be concerned with the immortal souls of the born; the young, the prime targets of Planned Parenthood.

Pat Messina and I will be unveiling our new signs, purchased from Murasso SignPro, a long time supporter of STOPP. They are huge. One says, “Planned Parenthood Protects Child Predators”, the other, “Planned Parenthood Covers Up Statutory Rape”. All in bright red lettering. The total cost was $260. Certainly I hope that you on this activist list will help me out. But even if you don't, I will display these signs in obedience to Christ's commandment to protect His “little ones”.

By the way, I'm thrilled to be picketing with Warrior Pat Messina. She and I fought many a battle against PP, in Beacon, and also in Newburgh. Pat, it is an honor to get back in the trenches with such a formidable enemy of PP, and such a faithful Soldier for Christ!

At PP today, I spoke with the female deathscort about the problem of non-reporting of Statutory Rape by Mid-Hudson PP, and PP generally. The abortion problem means nothing to her; yet she seemed disturbed by the results of the Sting by Mark Crutcher of Prolifeamerica.com, also Life Dynamics. I challenged her to ask PR Director and general idiot Willa Frieband of MHPP about the issue; “Ask her; does PP report instances of child abuse? Of 15 year-olds by adult men?”.: She finally agreed to do so,and to tell me next Tuesday. We'll see. BUT...

This highlights what Crutcher says: we can cripple PP by appealing even to pro-aborts who aren't OK with the rape of little girls. We can close PP and the entire Proabort Industry, using this one tool...

I have received little reaction to my address to the Dutchess Vicariate about this: yet I know there are those who see the wisdom of Life Dynamics' approach. Therefore, I have taken the following steps:

I have ordered $75 of LDI's Child Predator pamphlets to give out, as I wander around wearing my $200 sandwich board which says on one side, “PP Covers Up Statutory Rape”, and the other which says, “PP protects Child Sexual Predators”. I NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT here. STOPP simply doesn't have the funds to carry this campaign alone. I have spoken with Jim Sedlak about this, and he will be addressing this crucial issue in an upcoming STOPP report. He reminded me of something, to explain to those who are fighting abortion; “ I say I am not fighting abortion; I am fighting Planned Parenthood.” Meaning - all it's evil works; killing our grandchildren, certainly... but equally, corrupting our children with sex ed, and covering up the sexual exploitation of young women and girls. It's bad enough that PP kills the unborn; but PP also consigns sexually abused girls to a life of depression, drug abuse, self-destruction, and self hatred... all of which are tools of Satan to drag these souls down to hell .

Mark Crutcher also has a saying - “We are NOT here to ‘fight the good fight’, we are here to WIN.”

Amicus Brief to the Supreme Court - Please join STOPP Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005

STOPP was founded by Jim Sedlak and myself in 1985. We began by picketing PP, which at that time (picketing PP) was rare. About 5 years later, Molly Yard, RIP, of blessed memory (the head of NOW) organized a massive picket in Poughkeepsie. We used the Victim photos in force for the first time. (I had been using the little girl's head, whom I named Emily, for some time before). We matched them. And the faces of the pro_“choice” Soccer moms made it all worthwhile. For the first time, many of them were confronted by the results of “Choice” I was surrounded by hostile pro-aborts, and it was delicious.

We also, with the help of my Guru, Joe Scheidler, commenced our first home picket; a so called doctor who was on the board of our Mid-Hudson Planned Parenthood. When the neighbors found out he was an abortionist, they were horrified, and supported us. here were at least 30 of us; it was a 2 for 1, since his neighbor also killed for PP.

Thereafter, I never picketed without a Victim sign. STOPP went to high schools, colleges (Vassar, Marist) with the signs. Never was there a cogent response. Malachai and Emily and later Tiny Tim, said it all.

In 2001, I was thrown off my own local Jan 22 demonstration by a priest who grabbed my wrist, wrenched it, and threw Emily to the ground; he would not have “Those pictures” used during the (STOPP's) demonstration. I told him what I thought; then went to an area I used often, without hassle by the police; and was arrested with false charges. Long story short, I won the case with the help of Ferrara, and was awarded 50k in a settlement.

I was arrested again in 2004 in my home town - while picketing alone, I was accused of constituting a “Parade” for which I needed a permit! There was a settlement there as well (Chris again), but they still insist that one person holding a sign is a “parade”.

The Future -
Working with pro-life PI Kevin Sherlock, we have identified 4 abortionists who murder at MHPP. We will be working with Mark Crutcher's Life Dynamics, to put up photos of these butchers in their neighborhoods, informing the neighbors as to the nature of their friend's “work” - this will involve mailings, and nailing the things on trees, etc.

STOPP brought our new “Insanity of Choice” sign to PP on their butchering day. The male escort is someone I have been working on. It was he who agreed to read the testimony of Ron Fitsimmons on the lies about Partial Birth Abortion, and the testimony given to Congress by Caldwell. Mary Caldwell is the Medeical Director of PPFA, and claimed that anesthesia given to the mother kills the kid, so PBA is no big deal. The American College of Anesthesiologists had to correct her perjury, since women panicked over this, and were afraid to get necessary surgery.

The kid read all of it; these articles were from the AMA News. No possibility of pro-life “bias”. So I had real hope for him

We faced the PPers with the dual sign; 24 week kid hooked up to tubes, to save his life, (Baby A), 24 week dead little girl. The deathscort, who will from now on be called “Coward”, looked and said, I don't believe in your signs. I asked Coward what the hell happened? You read all that stuff, and now you say that? His answer “That is your truth! I believe in MY truth!” It took all the patience I have (which some of you know is ever in short supply) not to take the sign and stuff it down his throat. Instead I needled him on his caving into Peer Pressure especially in the person of the female(?) member of the pair who hasn't had a thought of any kind in her whole life.

But I told him also that I was terribly disappointed in him. I thought he had some intellectual honesty. His laugh was forced, and his smile was a more of a grimace. I think this has gotten to him. We'll see.

Then Ken and I went to Vassar College, which is always fun. Had to endure the yearly argument with security that No, we are NOT on your property, NO you don't own the sidewalk, talk with the head of security already.

STOPP will be buying more signs from the Center for Bioethical Reform (abortionno.com). They are very expensive, and donations would be helpful. We wish to buy a variety of signs - “Insanity” cost 125 bucks, without laminating and mounting, which we did. I received an anonymous donation of $100 and that sum will be used for this purpose.

Feast of the Guardian Angels Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005

STOPP showcased a new Victim sign today: from the Center for Bioethical Reform, we displayed both a Victim; 24 weeks, UNWANTED - and a loved WANTED Baby, 24 Weeks who was in a neonatal unit, doctors fighting for her life. Often in debating, I refer to “Baby A”, wanted, in one room, and “Baby B” in another, in the same hospital, having her head torn off. Greg Cunningham has turned this concept into a stunning pictoral reality.

This is a large 2 man sign, so Helen and new STOPP activist Ken Shimansky took to the streets; first in front of Barnes and Noble in the Town of Poughkeepsie, and then later in front of Marist College.

Responses to this sign were different. People were forced to view a live preemie, as well as a dead “fetus”. We challenged the public to tell us the difference between the live kid and the dead kid. It was a challenge unmet. Because it is impossible, such is the genius of this sign. The most negative thing we heard was, “That is F*%&$# UP!” Ken simply replied, no kidding.

We were out for a tremendously gratifying 2 hours, in the brilliant sunshine. STOPP hopes to purchase many more of these innovative signs. We have a great deal of work to do. BUT>>>

STOPP first went over to Vassar College. It must be spring break. The only people there seemed to be over 35. Malachi was displayed for them, and of course for Campus Security, which, for the first time in 5 years, didn't give us any lip.

Then we went to the corner of Ramond Ave. and Main in Poughkeepsie. There are plenty of shops there. Yet, though folks stared, no one gave us a hard time.

Then, back to the scene of the crime, in front of Planet Wings, on 44. There was much more activity there, and quite a bit of foot traffic. We were ready with the “Pro-Choice” pamphlet.

It was quiet though, until a car filled with young gentlemen stopped to speak to us. Kids being kids, we expected the usual obscenities, vulgarities, etc. Were we surprised when they rolled the window down, and one young fella bellowed, “You...BIG DUMMY!!!”

FTT - Pleasant Valley Thursday, Mar. 3, 2005

Due to a long standing family complication STOPP has been quiescent for the last few months.

Back to Pleasant Valley; STOPP took it's usual place, across from Smith's Station, on Rt. 44.

For the first time, the State Police took notice - a Trooper stopped over, and asked, “Has anyone contacted you yet?” We said, no; thinking, why the heck would anyone; the Sherrif and his minions simply circled us like sharks, but knew better than to interfere. The negative responses included attempts to soak me by driving into a large puddle close to the sidewalk - we however learn fast; moved to a dry area...

The Trooper came close, with his lights on - it appeared that he wanted me to come to the car; because I was not formally summoned, I simply continued educating PV.

He finally drove away, after making a bunch of calls; perhaps he learned about STOPP's history in this county. Whatever, he slunk away, turning off his lights.

Received many positive responses, including one gentleman who said, “Why don't they abort the abortionists!”

One of the most stupid things yelled out was “You are just as bad as the people who did this!!” ...pointing to Malachi. OK...

The Battle for Pleasant Valley - pt. 3 Monday, September 6, 2004

I went right to North Ave. after demonstrating at PP. I had Tiny Tim with me, and thought he would be perfect for the Pleasant Valley community. I arrived about, who knows when, and positioned myself on the same corner Jerry had stood on the day before.

Out came our friend with the “jackass” sign. When first he showed up, I graciously (yes, I can pull off ‘gracious’) thanked him for his presence, since it drew even more attention to the picture of murdered Tiny Tim. He graciously noted that it appeared that we were NOT friends, and called me some un-gracious epithets. He shadowed me, wherever I walked; if I crossed the street, he followed. Later, Jerry appeared with Malachi.

Jerry pretty much stayed put, since we were taping. I had the hand-held tape recorder, and pretended to tape my not-friend's comments because I didn't know which button to push. A man came over, and told me that he thought that Russ, (now I knew his name) the owner of the station, was an idiot. This gentleman told Russ that I had every right to be there, and that he was wrong to treat a “lady” this way, etc. etc. This dear man offered to testify to the harrassment I enjoyed at the hands of my moron friend, Russ.

When Jerry appeared, they knew that we were “dead” serious. The cops were called; I have lost count. About 4 troopers, and various and sundry local constables - more of them than of the demonstrators. ALL of them were wonderful! This was too much for Russ; he ordered one of his employees to cover Jerry, with a new and creative “jackass” sign, as Russ covered me. This poor man must have been the same one who complained to Jerry that he had to do this, or he'd be fired. He looked positively bummed. A woman came over screaming to Jerry about her 13 year old daughter who was allegedly having a meltdown, as a result of our signs. Jerry said, Oh, then let her come over, so we can talk to her. She was nowhere in evidence, and never appeared. However, as I stood there, a woman with an SUV FULL of kids, from toddler to teen, yelled out “JACKASS”. I was ready to blow her a kiss (REALLY!) until she said, “No, I don't mean YOU! I mean the jerk who is following you with his sign. They DON'T want people to know the truth!!”.

FOLKS - NEVER, EVER, have the “But what about the children” complainants produced a shred of evidence that any children were “traumatized”. NEVER. And this has been the experience of most of the Face The Truth'ers; Cunninham, Schiedler, and Fr. Pavone. It is a red herring, and if you are afraid for this reason, I encourage you to press on. Kids either ignore the signs, unable to make out what they are, or if they do, want to know more; remember the kids on Noxon St. who wear the Feet - they were particularly proud that those Feet were the same size as the Feet of poor Tiny Tim.

Then things got a bit crazy - I was sprayed with a hose, from some dude from the station; It was hot, and his aim was too low. Me, sure, my sign, no!

Then Russ began getting up close and personal with his sign, whacking me with it, then saying, “Stop bumping into my sign!”. I am patience personified, but that was it; I called over the cops, who were leaving at the time. I told Russ, “You have one more chance; if you hit me with that thing again, you will have a world of trouble; remember this is being taped.” The cop came over, and warned him.

All this time, Jerry and I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that we had NO problem with the Citgo station guys exercising THEIR First Amendment Rights. The police appreciated this. They also knew that we totally knew what we were doing, legally, and showed their appreciation for this as well. This didn't stop them from asking, wearily, “Um, how much longer are you folks gonna be here??”

In sum, PV learned a lot - the majority of indications we received were positive as heck! This happens SO much. Frustrated pro-lifers, or anti-abortionists in the closet, are so gratified that this is being done. The hostile will be hostile. They are for the most part of the mind set of the abortion-industry folks who Joe Schiedler quotes, (having inflitrated their meetings) “DON'T let them show the pictures! JUST DON'T LET THEM SHOW THE PICTURES!!!”

The day before, Jerry had brought Malachi to Pleasant Valley, and positioned himself at the light at the intersection of RT. 44 and North Avenue. Across the street is a Citgo station. Almost immediately, the fireworks began.

At 1:15 pm, employees from the station began to heckle him. The owner threatened to assault Jerry. He came out later with a sign that said “Jackass”, with an arrow pointing to Jerry. He told Jerry, about the first employee, “You don't understand, he (the owner) threatened to fire me if I don't get out here and hold this. You got to be careful; that guy is crazy. He has done time for attempted murder. He even might try to run you over!” Jerry said that he deals with folks like him all the time at the jail. He also told the employee,not to worry, he has as much right to hold his sign as Jerry has to hold his.

Then the owner came back out and held the sign; the State police showed up a few minutes later, backed up by Deputy Merrit of the D.C. Sherrif's Dept. Merrit stated the obvious, that “you are causing trouble here”, but acknowledged Jerry's right to demonstrate. Then the Deputy brought up MILLBROOK! He had heard of our victory over Chief Haight, who had confiscated Malachi; we won the case in Federal Court. It appears that the word is getting around about this case, and Jerry and I suspect that D.A. Bill Grady may be spreading the word. Then the deputy asked if Jerry was involved in the 2001 Town of Poughkeepsie case. Jerry said, no, that was Helen Westover. (This was when I was arrested on Jan 22 of that year for “blocking” traffic; this was eventually laughed out of court, and we won a settlement from the Town.)

The rest of the conversation involved the issue of children; seeing Malachi. I will have much to say about this in Part 3. I accompanied Jerry to Pleasant Valley. I held Tiny Tim (10 week aborted) and Jerry once again held Malachi.

Scripturewall - the Fight for Pleasant Valley, NY Tuesday, August 31, 2004

FIRST came Scripturewall, at the death camp in Poughkeepsie NY. Audrey, Maureen, Tom, Robert, Jerry, myself, and Fr. Francis. The deathscorts were there this week. We gave out stuff on Maggie the Fascist Sanger; they didn't believe it; I told them that we got it all from Mag's Pivot of Civilization...have you read it? “Yes” said the ostensible female partner. “You did?” YES - I said, in all charity (instructing the ignorant, chastizing the evil..) “You are a LIAR!” Hurt, the female said to Audrey, “She called me a Liar!!” O Dear, said Audrey. I made the point that murder and lies go together like..murder and lies. I then enlightened her...“ The book has been out of print for 30 years!” Like roaches, the two of them scurried back to their safe places in the darkness of the entrance to PP - PRIOR to that, I was holding Tiny Tim, and the semi-male partner came up to tell me “It's NOT A PERSON”. After being enlightened that “Personhood” is a totally subjective, philosophical and legal term, having nothing whatever to do with science, genetics, or medicine, he made some barely intelligible protest, and returned to his lair at the entrance.

The children were waiting for this writer, who unfortunately overslept, and was late in delivering the Precious Feet. Boy, did I hear it; then I gave out 20 pins to the kids, who wore them proudly, and gave them to their aunts and sisters who waited inside the houses. At one point, a man came over to harrass Jerry; the guy called the police, and claimed that Jerry and I were “harrassing the CHILDREN”.. The cop knew us, and what we do, and viewing the kids happily comparing their newly pinned Feet, told Jerry good luck, and went back to enforcing the Law in Poughkeepsie...

FTT/Scripturewall - Tuesday, August 24, 2004

Jerry and I usually position ourselves on opposits corners of the street, while the sidewalk counselors deal with the people going in to have their kids murdered. We do Face the Truth, using Tiny Tim (10 week) Emily, (the little girl who had her head torn off), and of course, Malachi. The idea is to “head off” the abortion-bound with pictures of the Victims, to perhaps burn the images of the dead into their minds before they turn into PP's driveway. Usually, once the driveway barrier has been crossed, the murder is inevitable; but not always. Audrey. Tom, Arnie, and Robert had the thankless task of trying to talk these women out of killing their children.

Jerry's position is on the Academy and Noxon St. intersection, where there are several homes with children. For weeks, now, the kids have talked with Jerry, and even held some of the signs. After picketing on the corner of Noxon and Market, I went to see what was going on with Jerry. He was surrounded by 12 kids; 6 boys, 6 girls. Everyone of them (middle-school age) were fascinated by the pictures. They wanted to know everything - showing them Tiny Tim, I described to them the fact that this kid was the same age as the kids being slaughtered by PP down the street. I told them that PP would never tell them what abortion actually is, and that is why Jerry and I are there. Jerry has had many conversations with these kids, and has had the same experience. We told them that we wanted them to know, before PP ever got ahold of them, and lied to them as they do. I was wearing the Precious Feet, and only had a couple of pair to give to the kids, (Furious with myself for being so unprepared - never again), and I explained that these were the same size and shape of Tiny Tim's feet; that PP would never tell them; nor that the baby was moving, and sucking his thumb. I told them that the REASON PP lies to kids and moms is to make money; that they were, at that precise moment, making blood money, over and over, and that's why the other people were infront of the place.

Towards the end, an elderly Black woman came by, castigating us over showing the victims, and talking to the children. She claimed to be pro-life, and may have been; but she kept claiming that the kids were being traumatized by our signs; Jerry said, “Look at them! Do they seem traumatized?” On the contrary, they were fighting over who would get to wear the Feet. I told the children of the time I encountered a clerk, while I had the Feet, who asked for a pair for herself - and that 2 years later, she reintroduced herself, and showed me a picture of her son; who had been saved from death because the Feet changed her mind. I told this lady that what we were doing was trying to save these kids from making a terrible decision, based on lies. She didn't agree when we said that Blacks are disproportionately aborted, because PP targets them, a la Maggie Sanger.

Towards the end, however, she seemed to soften; Jerry reminded her, and the kids, that we truly respect these young people - we know that they want truth, and are not frightened by it; only adults claim this, have you noticed?

Another amazing victory happened as Jerry first set up, at about 9am; a Latino priest, who serves the Spanish community at St. Mary's in Poughkeepsie, asked for us to make a presentation, this Sunday, to his congregation. There will be a translator, and we will be bringing our Spanish literature...once before, I gave out the Spanish version of “PP - it's Not What You Think” to the same community at St. Mary's.

I told the kids, that I would be back, with enough Feet to decorate the shirts of all of them, and their friends. They were delighted. They can't wait until we return.

Fr. Francis McClosky has recently written about the controversy over showing the pictures of the Victims to children. He agrees with Greg Cunninham, of the Abortion Trucks (and planes) at the Center for Bioethical Reform; “America cannot reject abortion until it sees abortion.”

Today, I decided to to to Planned Parenthood (PP) in Poughkeepsie, where the Scripturewall (founded by Father Francis McCloskey) was operating. Scripturewall is a combination prayer service and sidewalk counseling method, which has been very effective in actually saving babies. One method that seems to work is for the majority to pray and counsel in front of the place of child-sacrifice, and for others to go to the corner with the atrocity signs, in an effort to head mothers off before they even get close. Fr. Francis and the Scripturewall gang are there every Tuesday, rain or snow. I have gone only occasionally, but I will try to match their dedication.

Jerry and I went to opposite corners, both of us with dear Malachi. Unusually supportive stuff went on on my end. Two thumbs up at separate times. A young woman came over, and looked sadly at Malachi. I began to explain his origin, (a dumpster in Texas), and then Rich Van Slambrouk came over, and talked to her more. This resulted in the woman going off to the Crisis Pregnancy Center with Audry Mondello! Who knew? This is what Scripturewall does best.

A lady cop (oxymoron of oxymorons - plus she herself is a moron) with whom I had problems before at the city high school, pulled up while I was conferring with Rich. She takes either testosterone shots in tbe morning, or she wears a patch. Anyway, they had received a complaint about my being on the main business street, Market, which is adjacent to PP. I introduced myself, but she hadn't forgotten, apparently. Then she began to make noise like I didn't belong on Market St., and that I am a lot of trouble(!). I said, “I know you think I cause trouble, but unfortunately for you, I don't break the law, ever.” Then she decided to talk about me to Rich. This was pure harrassment, as I told her superior about 5 minutes later (her superior got nasty with me when I told him that I want this woman to leave me alone or I'll sue for harrassment. He hung up on me.) while I marched all over market street.

Yes, thanks to the Bimbo/Cop-ett, I got the idea to do a Face the Truth in front ot Social Services, the County office building, and several shops - The place where the movers and shakers of Dutchess County go to conduct business. Why hadn't I done this before? (Slap to head)

Finished, I went back to the others to find out that the cop who hung up on me had come to PP to talk to me. Keystone Kop - I was right around the corner, where the complaint had come from in the first place. KK must have just missed me. So I called back, and said that I would wait for a while for KK, but that I did have to get to work, and after all, I wish always to cooperate with Poughkeepsie's Finest! He didn't show, so I left my card with Rich so KK could give me a call.

The First of Many Home Pickets of Child Killers and Their Little Helpers Friday, June 4, 2004

STOPP went to the home of the new President of the New NOW of Dutchess county, which is comprised of six old ladies and a few college students. Jennifer Shagan is the president, she of the TV show that we were both on three years ago. On that show, she distinguished herself by claiming that the homosexual community was 20% of the population. The moderator, pointing to a NY Times article which said that the number was 10% or below, demurred. Jennifer's rejoinder was “Well, I learned that in a class!”

Then, as I cited data about the genocide taking place, and how it's done, she answered by whining about “Choice” and “Woman's Rights” and how we're losing all of them, which will apparantly result in women in Poughkeepsie soon being forced to wear Burkas.

When the Partial Birth Abortion ban was overturned by the federal court, Jennifer was interviewed, and declared it good; “Women need to have control over their bodies” she peeped.

I know where she lives, having given her kids piano lessons, and having taken some unwanted hamsters off her hands... I brought Emily, the unborn girl who had her head torn off to secure women's rights, and a sign designed by our little signmaker, Maeghan MacDougall, which said, “SHAGAN'S CHOICE”.

Jen wasn't home, but the neighbors were. Cell phones were whipped out, cops called - nothing. It is important when picketing a home, not to stay in front of the targeted residence for too long... law says you have to keep moving. I know it, and so do the police... Which was fine with me. Now the neighborhood knows what Jennifer stands for- beheading.

STOPP will return with Malachi, the most effective of all signs. We will call first, to insure that she is home.

I will be picketing Jennifer Shagan's house sometime this week; she is the lady you see debating me on that OLD show, head of DC NOW. She was quoted in the paper as being thrilled that babies can continue to have their heads pierced without anesthesia. I will be holding Emily (the beheaded little girl) and a sign saying “Shagan's Choice”. I will do this alone, but if anyone can join me, email me, please.

Face The Truth - Millerton, N.Y. Saturday, May 29, 2004

STOPP arrived at 2:40 pm and set up with a 5 ft. Malachi at the intersection of RT. 22 and Main St. Shortly thereafter, Rich arrived with his full size Emily. We were approached by a woman pushing a stroller and another child walking beside her. Rich and I braced ourselves expecting the usual complaint from parents whose children view our signs. Surprisingly she said, “Wow, you mean there is a pro-life organization around here? This is great. I'm really glad to see you guys out here.” She asked who we represented and I said that Rich was the Vicariate for Dutchess County and that I am associated with Mid-Hudson Stop Planned Parenthood. She went on to say that she would like to get more involved but needs to wait at least another year due to the needs of her young children. She expressed her view that abortion is murder, then asked if anyone within our group advocated or carried out acts of violence against abortionists. Rich and I explained how everyone within our groups are peaceful spiritual people. She then expressed a desire to volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center. Rich told her about Good Counsel. He explained where they are located and that he often refers turnarounds from Planned Parenthood to them. A pedestrian then asked Rich where he got the sign from, it's cost, a stated his desire to purchase one.

The proprietor of Gilmore Glass Works then attempted to order us off of the sidewalk. His business was directly behind us. He claimed that he owned the sidewalk and that Rich and I were trespassing. I told him that I did not believe that he owned the sidewalk. He then positioned himself in front of Rich and Emily. He quickly reconsidered that tactic perhaps fearing that people may associate him with us, and threatened us several times with arrest. He left repeating over and again that he was calling the police. Minutes later, a woman presumably his wife began yelling at us that our signs were disgusting, that they called the police and we would be arrested. Rich replied that people have the choice of turning away from our signs. They don't have to look at them. She then became enraged shouting “Oh yes, Choice. That is what you people are against!! Choice!! Well the police will be here and you will be arrested! Then you'll leave!”

Steve arrived and held a smaller sign that Rich brought. I think it stated “Abortion is Murder.” We updated him on what had transpired.

Sgt. Burnett of the Millerton Police Dept. arrived at approx. 3:00 pm. I've known Lyle for over 20 years and felt confident that he would employ a fair level headed approach, which he did. He recognized that we were peaceful, have a legal right to demonstrate, were not violating any laws or ordinances and that the sidewalk was in fact public property. I told him that everything we had done that day was recorded on video and that he was welcome to view it in its entirety to determine whether we had in fact broken any laws. He thanked me but felt that it wasn't necessary. He then excused himself to explain those facts to the complainant. Sgt. Burnett returned roughly ten minutes later. He reiterated that he knew we had not broken any laws and had a right to conduct our activity. He then said that it was a very good idea that we had video taped the event to protect us from accusations. Sgt. Burnett then said that he would maintain a presence in the area. We thanked him.

The proprietor then returned to the sidewalk claiming that he reviewed the survey and that we were trespassing and he would have us arrested. I asked him how often he intended to repeat himself. He left frustrated and we could see him again complaining to Sgt. Burnett on the sidewalk.

Dana and Robin Canaveri arrived with their son. They took another 5 ft. Malachi and the mini-Emily and displayed the signs in front of their residence on Rt. 22. Sgt. Burnett stopped by to investigate that as well. He stated that he definitely could not do anything about them since they were not even on a sidewalk. In their case they were standing on their front lawn.

Face The Truth concluded at 4:00 pm. Overall public reaction was divided. Dana expressed his view that it is easy to focus on the larger municipalities while overlooking the smaller ones. He spoke of the importance in reaching out to the small villages with our message. We tentatively agreed to Pleasant Valley as our next location.

Womyn in Black - Addendum Monday, May 17, 2004

We hear so much that FTT is terrible for “the children”, that they will be traumatized, freaked, etc. Yet I was 8 years old when I first saw the results of the Death camps in Poland, and the only “trauma” I suffered was a resolve to fight against any who commit genocide. That resolve has stayed with me all my life.

Saturday, a woman and little girl came up to my Malachi sign - “the mother” gave me the regulation rant - the girl, between 7 and 9, looked closely at Malachi. She asked, “what happened to it?” I told her it was a little boy who had not been born yet, and that he had been killed. She asked “Why?” I said that this is “abortion” and it's what some people do to children before they're born, because they don't want them. I described what happened to Malachi, and that it hurt him. The mother grabbed the girl, and went to cross the street; as they were moving away, the little girl said, “Well, I'll never have an abortion!”

Face the Truth Main Street Village of New Paltz Saturday, May 15, 2004

STOPP arrived at 12:05 pm. Helen displayed a five foot Malachi, while I, (the man) revealed our mini-Emily. We set up on the sidewalk diagonally across from Starbucks Cafe. That is the site normally used by the women who regularly protest against the war dressed in black. One of their members arrived, saw us and left looking dejected as she sat on a nearby bench. Helen told her that we were only there until they arrived and would hand over the corner to them as a sign of good faith. That woman as well as others who arrived shortly thereafter were appreciative.

We then moved to the sidewalk in front of P & G's restaurant. We thought that would be the least intrusive as our backs were to the patrons. Helen expressed that to one of their employees who attmpted to order us from the sidewalk. I slightly redeemed myself by handing out numerous pamphlets published by Life Dynamics. They are designed to trick the reader as the front pronounces “Pro-choice!” Then when the reader turns the page they are faced with abortion facts and photos of the victims.

There was no doubt that we were in enemy territory as New Paltz is radically to the left politically. The only usual complaint that we did not hear was whether we had a permit. People apparently gave up on that after seeing the “women in black.” We were however threatened several times with forthcoming complaints to the police. The New Paltz police patrolled past us several times without interfering.

Early on a man walked past us shouting that we were religious fascists. He then said that he would kick us off his sidewalk. I replied that he sounded like a fascist ordering people off of a public sidewalk (because he doesn't like the message). Helen attempted to reason with him but every time she responded to a statement of his he changed the subject attempting to orally attack us from a different angle. His last ditch effort was to shout that we are killing his people. I asked who his people were and he stated “The Muslims!” Of course he only cared about those of his ethnicity and faith, assuming he is Muslim.

Helen spoke gently to some young children who were curious about Malachi. She did a wonderful job of relating to them and expressing our cause in terms they could understand.

A few times we responded to the misconception of pro-lifers being religious zealots. I asked one woman why someone had to be religious to oppose murder? Her only contribution was a look of confusion. Certainly, not all the feedback was negative. Several people beeped and waved. Three pedestrians stopped to speak with Helen, and one more offered encouraging words for me. At that point we were on different corners of the sidewalk. FTT concluded at 1:20 pm.

New Paltz Again; the Womyn in Black -+ Those Whom You Can Trust Saturday, May 1, 2004

Once again STOPP went to New Paltz to counter picket the O-so-gentle, “compassionate” and “peaceful” ladies who demonstrate on Main St. every other Saturday. Usually they are there an hour. This time is was a game of “Who gives up first”.

The above describe their signs. Once again, I chanted their slogans back at them - “Peace for ALL - Stop the War on the Unborn”. “compassion for this kid, here (a huge Malachi), torn to pieces in his mother's womb - without anesthetic.”

This time, I was joined by Joe Eldred of the Constitution Party. It was Joe's first time at a Face The Truth, I believe, and he made it possible for me to give out those nifty “Pro-Choice” pamphlets - pro-death slogans on the outside, cleverly deceiving the recepient, 'til they open it to a picture of Tiny Tim; 10 week abortion victim; and it says, “Pretty words; Grim Reality” with statistics about the genocide. This is put out by Life Dynamics, with assistance from Greg Cunninham, of the great pro-life organization The Center For Bioethical Reform.

Both pro-life groups are truly effective; all their money goes into saving babies; all of it. Mark Crutcher has a staff, but he doesn't provide pensions - the idea it to STOP baby-killing, not retire on the donations from pro-lifers. Both Mark and Greg have one purpose - to stop the killing. Period. They are 100% trustworthy. While I'm at it, Joe Scheidler of the Prolife Action League is still waiting for NOW to fork over the money they owe him. The RICO case devastated him financially. If you have any extra cash, please donate to these guys.

I noticed one of the older women staring at Malachi. It was really strange; she hardly took her eyes off him the entire time. It was a look of deep contemplation. I wonder what was going on in her mind.

After they decided to quit, a full half-hour longer than their usual stint, I went around the village handing out the pamphlets.

I also wore, for the occasion, my t-shirt which states, “It's Easy To Be Pro-Choice if You're Not The One Being Killed.” After, I went shopping, wearing this portable sign. Naturally, one gets a lot of looks, but in K-mart, a woman stopped me (an employee) and asked to read it closely. She loved it, and wrote down the text so she could have one made up.

STOPP plans to be in New Paltz every other week, to conduct Face The Truth, right across from the “peaceful” feminists.

Stopp Stops the Womyn in Black, Again Thursday, Apr. 29, 2004

Went to New Paltz for a wedding rehearsal, and was glad to see that the Womyn in Black Against All Violence were on their customary corner.

Their signs read “Respect all Human Life” and “Stop the Violence Everywhere”....O boy.

Out came an aborted kid photo; and this crazy Unborn Rights advocate, gently yelled, “ Face Your Hypocrisy!” “Respect all human life, including this kid's...” And “Stop the Violence everywhere; including in the Womb”.

Pro-Family Demonstration In New Paltz Saturday, Apr. 10, 2004

A group of us demonstrated against the “Gay Marriage” juggernaut in New Paltz NY. Rev. Bill Banuci, of the Christian Coalition, and 10 others, including the administration of STOPP (Jerry and Helen) protested at a private home, where the “weddings” were going on. We were met by a friendly “gay” chap, who welcomed us. We agreed to disagree.

We held signs deliberately designed to make our point without being cruel. Judgemental, yes; cruel, no. “Defend Biblical Marriage”; “Opposites Attract;”; “You Can't Fool Mother Nature”, and one sign from stats. offered by a homosexual website, which stated that after 20 years, 5% of all “gay” relationships continue, contrasted with 88% of heterosexual marriages.

At first, all was friendly. Soon, some of the participants got ugly. We suddenly, were accused of “hate”. We responded, “show us where we are demonstrating hate...OK?” They could not. This was obviously deeply disappointing to the homosexuals, since this is used by them, and “liberals” in general, to shame and silence those who disagree with them. One woman discussed the marriages as a matter of “choice”. I led her down the path of her logic:“ What if I want to marry my cat?” “ That's your choice.” “How about polygamy?” Fine...“ What if I want to marry my brother, or better, my sister?” “Go ahead!”

“How about my 12 year old nephew?” “Choice...” “How about my 7 year old little friend?” You guessed it - it was my “choice”, and perfectly OK. I made a few comments connecting this thinking to the position of the boys of NAMBLA (The North American Man-Boy Love Association - they still have a website, I believe.) I then expressed my gratitude to this woman, and those who agreed with her, for making our point in a way we could never do. Jerry spoke about the “boundaries” concern - and the Law of Unintended Consequences, to the many media reps who covered the demonstration. Rev. Banuci spoke about the fact that heterosexual marriage is the bedrock, and the foundation, for Western Society. We were all calm, and it went really well. We have decided to stay in touch, and to make these protests bi-weekly, as are the ceremonies.

Personally, it was devastating to see children attending this travesty. Heartbreaking. What will happen to these children?

We got media coverage by the Times Herald Record, and even were given a snippet of coverage by ABC, channel 7 “Eyewitless” News! Today at Church, someone asked Jerry, “Did I see you on the News?” It was the first I knew of that!

But, surprise, surprise!!! The Poughkeepsie Journal omitted all mention of our demonstration! I have cancelled my subscription to that paper; when they asked me why, I said, “Your systemic liberal bias. I've put up with it for 20 years. No more!” I suggest that you who read, or subscribe to it, give them a similar message; call 845-454-2000: Share your feelings with Rick Kleiban, News Director, and John Feo, the local news editor.

Stopp has become involved because we are alsIo a pro-family outfit. We will not allow it to detract from our Face The Truth activities: but we will be instrumental in keeping the pro-family, anti-homosexual marriage issue an integral part of what we do. Face The Truth Pleasant Valley Apr. 2, 2004

FTT commenced at 8:20 am on the sidewalk near St. Stanislaus at the intersection of Rt.44 and H. Magiacomo Blvd. Malachi was displayed. Two motorists stopped to complain. One was a middle-aged man driving a black pick up. He positioned the truck wide of the intersection, stopped the vehicle, lowered his window shouting “that sign is Offensive, I didn't go to war and fight for this country for you to hold that sign!” I gave him our business card and invited him to call me when I could give him time to discuss the issue. Of course I haven't heard from him. Like so many he apparently only believes in freedom of speech when he agrees with the message. Nor was he able to answer my question of, if the sign is offensive, what have you done to stop this from happening?

That man is an example of why so many problems persist in our society. Rather than face reality, people want to be lied to. They seek justification of what is easy but wrong. That is why people like the Clintons are elected.

Face The Truth, Rt.9 Wappingers Falls Mar. 26, 2004

Friday Helen and I conducted a Face the Truth demonstration at the intersection by Dunkin Donuts, Eckerd and Wendy's. Unfortunately the landscape posed a problem for video taping. The sidewalk in front of Dunkin Donuts was very short so we decided to cross the street to the Eckerd side. However, when I parked the car in Eckerd's lot there was a hill obstructing the camera's view. I therefor had to go back and film from the Dunkin Donuts lot. The problem there is when cars stop at the light they block us out.

FTT commenced at 10:23 am on Friday. Helen displayed Malachi and I took Emily. Shortly after our arrival a woman drove by shouting something stupid. About 5 minutes later she decided to return with a male friend. Those two losers charged across Eckerd's lawn as she was shouting every pro-abort cliche we've ever heard. They looked like Roseanne Arnold's trashier side of the family. She was shouting that she is a nurse who works at MDS labs. She was very proud of that. She kept asking us where we work. We didn't answer. Then she went on to rape, condoms, us not having a life or jobs, the photos being fabricated, why don't we adopt, the fact that I lack a uterus, and on and on and on. When she first arrived, she threatened to call the police. She made a big deal out of that. Apparently it made her feel important. I was praying the police would arrive just to shut her up. Helen then whispered the prayer to St. Michael. There was a state Police car near Dunkin Donut's. I assumed he was waiting for other officers to back him up. She looked like such a low life that the more she carried on, people began to respond positively to us - many beeps, waves and thumbs up.

Danielle stopped by. She said that she had moved and was eager to get back out with us. She gave us her new phone number and said she would try to make it back in 45 minutes to give us a hand if we would still be there.

Finally, two more troopers arrived and all three came over to speak with us. It felt a lot like a reenactment of the Pine Plains FTT. They opened up by asking us if we had a permit to be there. I responded by saying I didn't believe that we needed a permit. Then I said that if they can produce an ordinance which requires us to have a permit I would leave to examine that ordinance. They walked away from us several times to consult with their supervisors by phone. I passed that on to Helen who said she would not leave even if they did have an ordinance. Two Village of Wappinger Police Officer then arrived to back up the state Police.

We were then approached by two more people a man and a woman. we braced ourselves for an onslaught of complaints. They told us they were against abortion but had reservations about the use of our signs. we explained the philosophy behind FTT. After about 6 or 7 minutes of talking to them they asked us if they could hold a sign with us!

Trooper L. Holder returned for more discussion. she began by saying that many people find our signs objectionable. I agreed. She then said that we could be creating a traffic hazard. I disagreed. I told her that no one is compelled to look at our signs instead of watching the road. It is up to them to drive properly. Furthermore, we are not on the roadway, but are standing on a public sidewalk and traffic is controlled at the intersection by a traffic light. Then she claimed that there could be violence and it would be the sign's fault. That surprised me. I replied that if someone were to assault me, that is a conscious decision which they would have to make. It is their choice to assault me, the sign has no culpability. Realizing that she looked pretty foolish she regrouped then ordered us to leave because we were causing a disturbance. I asked her if she was ordering me to leave. She said she was, and I told her that I wasn't going anywhere. If she felt I was breaking the law then to go ahead and arrest me. When I said that she rolled her shoulders back and her face tightened up. I told her to calm down that I wasn't threatening her authority. she said that it sounded like I was. I told her that really wasn't the case. I understood she has a job to do and I don't expect her to be on either side of the issue. She replied that we seem very dedicated to our cause. I thanked her for that and asked her to look at from our point of view. I asked what happens next week or next month? Do we leave every time someone calls them to complain about us? If that is the case FTT is doomed. She was beginning to see there was some validity to our position that we were not just busting chops. Then I told her, look I'm not a threat to you. If you decide to effect an arrest we will go peacefully. It isn't as though we will be wrestling around on the sidewalk as you try to handcuff us. She was much more relaxed then and said she knew that. Then she asked how it looks to others if I leave in handcuffs? I told her I wasn't concerned about that because I believe we will be acquitted and vindicated of any wrong doing. I also told her that I didn't want that to happen, as anything can happen once we get to court and that I am taking on considerable risk. But that we would take that option rather than leave.

Then a woman approached us to offer encouragement and support for what we were doing. She said that her husband was on his way over too. Moments later he arrived and they introduced themselves as Mike and Donna Willis. Then they introduced their children. Please forgive me Mike and Donna but I lost track. There was either four or five children. Really great kids. Mike explained that they were home schooling their children and said this would be like a field trip for them. As it turned out they had mutual friends with Helen. some motorists drove by shouting “get those kids in school” Mike would then counter “they are in school!” It was very uplifting.

A trooper then sternly warned us collectively not to enter the roadway, block traffic or go on Eckerd's property. I think I said something like yeah OK. About 15 minutes later another trooper approached Mike and demanded the children's ages. I wondered if Mike had to provide that information. It didn't matter he did anyway. I assumed they were considering charging Mike and Donna with truancy. That trooper then left. As he approached the intersection he put on his lights and siren even though he had a green light. Maybe he felt like it looked better to the public that way. He had to leave for something urgent.

Joe Matias then stopped by. He said that he was just over at the Town Hall to pick up some licenses when he overheard them talking about some people carrying signs. At first he didn't think it was us because of the time of day. Then he heard them say “aborted fetus” and he knew it was time to listen closer. He said that the one complaining seemed to be a clerk. The police said that there was nothing to arrest us for. The clerk then said that we couldn't be out there without a permit to carry signs. Joe was under the impression that the State Police would be back to tell us that. I thanked him and said that we only had another 6 or 7 minutes left anyway as we agreed earlier to end at 12 noon, but that if they did not come by I would try to stop by to review that ordinance. When noon came there was still no sign of the police. We loaded up the car and called it a day.

As a rally which began on a highly confrontational note with more people interested in STOPP. It was great to meet Mike, Donna and their children. They are wonderful people and we hope they will continue to participate in our functions.

Meeting With Sheriff Anderson Mar. 24, 2004

I met with the Sheriff early this morning. Normally Helen and I would have gone together. What made this different is that I met with him in two capacities. As the Assoc. Dir. of STOPP but also as his employee who had challenged the Sheriff's detective to arrest him. There was the prospect of my facing internal disciplinary charges.

I have known “Butch” for nearly 24 years and have enjoyed a good and frank relationship with him. Upon entering his office it was clear that our relationship had not changed. I stressed that whatever his beliefs are, I was not there to impose my beliefs concerning the abortion issue on him . We briefly discussed STOPP'S philosophy and the origin of FTT. I explained that FTT was created by Fr. Pavone, a Catholic priest from Staten Island and that FTT has emerged as a national strategy utilized by many pro-life groups. In other words I'm not one lone crack pot. I said that I thought our meeting was necessary since FTT is a highly controversial activity which routinely results in numerous complaints to police agencies. Particularly his since the sheriff's office patrols the entire county.

I provide a detailed account of what happened in Millbrook and that we will likely initiate legal action against the village. He was surprised that the Chief of police would place himself in the position of confiscating our sign.

Then we took a look at the Pine Plains debacle. Communications had received four complaints two of which came from the school. Butch was under the impression that I was at the school rather than the bank. He was willing to view the situation from our perspective. He acknowledged that we have a lawful right to conduct FTT, that I did not violate any laws, and that the detective was in no position to threaten my job. He also understood that were I to back down either from Detective Whelan in Pine Plains, or by not challenging the zoning ordinance in Millbrook, that FTT would be dead in those municipalities. He further recognized that in Pine Plains I was in a position where I could not leave due to the impression that gives to the public. Essentially it would appear that I was kicked out by the police for doing something wrong, where that obviously was not the case and that I had to wait a period of time after they left before I could leave. I asked him if he considered me a threat to Detective Whelan's safety necessitating three troopers and one deputy as back up. He laughed and said that when he heard my name he knew that it was not a bad situation. We went on to discuss those occasions in which we could have taken action against the State Police and the City of Beacon PD yet chose not to. In that way I was able to demonstrate that we are not looking for an excuse to sue, however after three years of working with law enforcement agencies throughout the county we have grown tired of being so accommodating. They have a responsibility to understand the law and properly apply it.

Butch was nonetheless unfamiliar with our group and was eager to accept our pamphlet. I invited him to view the video tape of the entire event as I expect Detective Whelan to paint a different picture of what happened. The meeting concluded with Butch repeating several times that he trusted my judgment.

Face The Truth Rts.82 & 199, Pine Plains Mar. 23, 2004

FTT commenced at 8:50AM. I parked the Hyundai facing east on RT.199 with the video camera angled to film the intersection and the front of Stissing National Bank. Shortly after my arrival motorists gave me a thumbs up. One shouted out “keep up the good work!” One pedestrian was staring at Malachi as he walked past me and entered the bank. After exiting the bank he approached me saying “you picked a cold day to be out here.” I replied that the abortionists do this (pointing at Malachi) 52 weeks a year. He agreed that is the case, stated his disapproval of abortion and wished me a good day.

At approx. 9:15 am, Detective Pat Whelan approached me backed up by a trooper. Our conversation follows:

PW- Hey I know you. Turning to the trooper he informed him that I am a sergeant in the jail.

JM - No. I didn't think I needed one. Is there a law specifying that I do? I am on a public sidewalk.

JM - Right, and I am in no way interfering with their business. This has nothing to do with them. I'm not blocking their entrance or exit. I have a right to be here. This is a controlled intersection and as you can see I am not obstructing traffic in any way.

JM - Pat, I keep the two separate. I don't bring up my job when I'm out here. If Butch (the Sheriff) wants top talk to me I'll make an appointment to speak with him.

JM - Pat do you really think I came here to bust your chops? I have no idea where you live. I try to hit every municipality in Dutchess County. There is no point in my always returning to the Town of Poughkeepsie. There are girls having abortions here too. Do you realize that the rate of breast, cervical, and ovarian cancer is exponentially higher among women who have had abortions?

JM - I doubt that you do know that. But you do know better. Aren't you assigned to investigating sex crimes? Didn't you just investigate one of my colleagues for raping his daughter?

JM - Don't you think that low life would drag his daughter into Planned Parenthood, and force her to have an abortion to permanently eliminate the evidence? (He thought about that but didn't have an answer).

JM - Were not. I've got a right to be here. I'm not leaving.(At that point he called the office to speak with his lieutenant)

JM - I don't care what you think. If I'm breaking the law then go ahead and arrest me.

Trooper - If you were we would have. Don't you know what this town is going through now? A little girl died.

JM - (Pointing to Malachi) This is more important. Four thousand are killed every day w/o anesthetic.

PW - (Returning from about his 3 call to the office) Why do you have to do this now at this time there are school kids driving by.

PW - OK you made your point now why can't you just leave? This is a very close knit community. People don't take well to this.

JM - Again, this is one stop in the county. Over the last week I've hit Fishkill, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, the Town of Poughkeepsie and so on, after this I plan to go to Millerton.

PW - Why are you doing this. Weren't you the one who got some hooker pregnant, then she had an abortion.

JM - No Pat. I don't see how my past has anything to do with this. But since you brought it up, I dated and lived with a stripper. In fact that happened twice with different people. It didn't involve an abortion.

JM - I don't give a crap what you heard. Since you brought it up, I'm willing to tell you the truth. That was a long time ago. I saw the world a lot differently then than I do now.

PW - Yeah OK. I can see you're committed to this. Look this is really starting to cause a problem. We have to worry about what can happen here.

The police presence gave pedestrians courage to speak out against me. Talking about the children. All the usual lines. That happened twice each time with two women. Two more troopers arrived, but did not get directly involved.

JM - By your leaving. I've now been here longer than I planned on anyway. Get in your cars and go. Then I'll leave.

A woman then parked her car and approached me. She said “I'm glad to see someone finally taking a stand in this community.” I thanked her, introduced myself and shook her hand. She then gave me her name, wished me well and left.

JM - Listen to me. You don't understand where I'm coming from. If I leave first it looks like you kicked me out. That only happens if I did something wrong. I haven't done anything wrong. That is why you need to leave first. I'll wait a while then I go. That's the deal.

The trooper turned and walked away. Past then went to his car and spoke more with people whom I think were from the bank. I displayed Malachi for several more minutes, loaded him in my car and turned off the video. Then I went back to speak with Pat.

JM - OK I'm out of here. But I'll be back. I'll be honest with you Pat. I've been doing this for three years now and I'm tired of being accommodating.

JM - If that was the case I would have been. I could have forced the troops to arrest me last year outside of Arlington High School. Instead I worked with them. They later determined that I had a legal right to what I was doing. The same thing happened in Beacon. I let them off the hook too. But I'm tired of that. Pat, people can like me or dislike me. I really don't care. The bottom line is I've got a right to do this. I've discussed this with deputies all over the county who have gotten calls about what we do. At least they recognized they couldn't stop us.

When I got home I spoke with the sheriff's secretary to arrange an appointment to discuss FTT with the Sheriff.

Booted From the Bridge Mar. 21, 2004

Yesterday at 7:20 Mini-Malachi was denied access to the pedestrian walkway on the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. The bridge authority based their action on a law which prohibits signs being carried anywhere on their property without written permission. The matter was turned over to our attorney for further review.

I then conducted a FTT at the Walmart/Boston Market entrance from 7:50-8:05 am without incident.

Face The Truth RT. 9, Poughkeepsie Mar. 20, 2004

Face The Truth began at 2:30 pm on the sidewalf at RT.9 Poughkeepsie by Barnes & Noble. It ended at 4:00 after Father McCloskey gave us all a blessing. Pat, Helen, Tom, Dad,Dana, Robin, Christian and their newborn, Father McCloskey, Kathryn, Ronnie and I were there. The outcome was amazing. Many people saw our signs and many agreed. Many also disagreed, we also got a few middle fingers! Three people stopped just to scream at us! (I'm so touched.) One called the police, who did not show up! (We should call the mental institution on them!) We showed Emily, Malachi and Tiny Tim. Meg gave us another sign that she put the back on!!!!

Face The Truth Rt. 44 Town of Pleasant Valley Mar. 16, 2004

STOPP commenced FTT at 10:00 am on the sidewalk in front of the town hall displaying the 5 ft. Malachi. Shortly after my arrival a man approached me asking if I “have to do that in front of the Town Hall?” I explained STOPP'S position on FTT. I asked him his name and he would only introduce himself by his first name as John. He seemed defensive. He likely worked for the town.

Moments later another man wearing a sweat shirt with the Town of Pleasant Valley Recreation Dept. written on it asked to look at the sign then commented “really nice” and walked away shaking his head.

This was the first time that a FTT was conducted in Pleasant Valley. FTT concluded at 10:20 am without further incident.

Face The Truth Village of Millbrook Mar. 16, 2004

STOPP conducted it's second FTT in the village of Millbrook. The first one back on March 3 resulted in the Chief of Police confiscating Malachi. This time Helen took to the sidewalk by the traffic light on Franklin Ave. while I remained within my vehicle to video tape her. She arrived at approx. 10:05AM displaying a five foot Malachi. The sign was so large it dwarfed her, and was at times difficult for her to hold. The sign's backing was applied by Meg McDougal saving us at least $200.00. Thank you Meg!

Chief Haight arrived around 10:20 am, advising Helen she could not continue to display Malachi as it was prohibited under the village's sign ordinance due to it's being an animated sign. Helen responded that Malachi is not an animated sign. That animated signs involve movement. She then offered the example of blinking lights which read “eat at Joe's diner.” After talking for about 20 minutes the Chief was unsure how to proceed. He stated that the sign may be considered obscene and that he would have to check into that. Approximately 45 minutes later he returned to ask Helen if her name was Helen Westover. She replied affirmatively.

He then asked if she lives in Poughkeepsie. She acknowledged that as well. Although he had been very courteous and friendly throughout their discussions Chief Haight then apologized “if he had been harsh with her.” He said that he had made several calls (probably to other law enforcement agencies) and hinted that he spoke with the district attorney's office. He acknowledged her right to conduct FTT in the village of Millbrook, and in fact stated that she is welcome to do so. He then mentioned that if she knows the guy (me) whose sign he took a few weeks ago to pass on that I can have it back.

Overall it was a productive day. FTT concluded close to noon. There were many more positive comments than negative. Several people stopped to speak with Helen offering her words of encouragement. There was a group of approximately 9 high school girls who observed the sign from across Franklin Ave. as they entered the Millbrook Deli. They registered facial expressions of shock upon viewing Malachi, but made no hostile or even negative comments. The school bus which my son was on drove by and he said that the children instantly responded to seeing Malachi as several conversations erupted.

March for Truth vs. March for Murder - Ap. 25, 2004 - Our mission Dec. 17, 2003

NOW, Planned Parenthood, Republicans for Choice and NARAL are organizing a March for Murder in Washington, DC to be held on April 25, 2004. Clearly, they are in a state of panic as they attempt to broaden their appeal by calling it a rally against George Bush, the Republican Party and including racial and economic issues. Please refer to NOW's website for more details.

It is imperative that the pro-life/antiabortion community respond to those tactics through a counter-demonstration. Only then may we maintain the focus on the critical issue of abortion. We cannot permit the pro-aborts to have the only voice on April 25, 04 as the Supreme Court, the Congress, the media and the American public monitor this struggle.

Please join us. This is not about competing organizations. What is at stake is the partial birth abortion ban, confronting the overall issue of abortion and saving the next victim. We are requesting all who participate to wear a red T-shirt. In that way, we are viewed as more of a unified group, rather than just a crowd. We have a dual purpose - one is certainly political, but most important is to Witness to the Truth - that Truth that the bloodthirsty pro-abort movement has tried to hide for 30 years - the humanity of our unborn Brothers and Sisters, and the atrocity that is their deaths. Greg Cunninham of the Center for Bioethical Reform captured the issue in one word; GENOCIDE: the extermination of an entire class of human beings. Covered by the media or not, we cannot allow the People of the Lie to go uncorrected. Unchallenged - we must be there to make them Face The Truth.

Beacon PP July 30, 2003

As a postscript to Jerry's account, we were just about to leave when four young teen girls came over, attracted by Tiny Tim. We explained his situation to them, and of course, mentioned that PP will not tell them about abortion. I suggested that they go on in, and get PP's pamphlet on abortion, in which one finds the human being in the womb represented with dots...yes, dots. The dots get bigger as the pregnancy progresses, and the dots just get bigger.

So, they did; Diana and Diane, nurses at the abattoir, would not give them the “dots” pamphlet - (naturally, since I had challenged the kids to see what liars they are). They came out with a contraception pamphlet, and the information that I was a common liar. I requested that the kids re-enter, and challenge the PP folks with a debate, all of them, against me. So they did. Quickly they re-emerged, only to say that PP called me a liar and a killer. “They told us that you kill abortion doctors!!!” they shared, breathlessly. The kid who quoted Diane, or Diana, or both, since they both said that Helen Westover is a killer and a terrorist, is named Chyanne. I asked her to go back in, to make sure she got the story straight. She did, and D&D repeated the charge. I then had Chyanne write down, and sign a paper saying that this was what the “D”s said. I have it right here.

Having more fun, I called on my cell phone, and told Diane that I now had evidence of her libelous remarks. I also thanked her profusely. Then I called Chris Ferrara, who will be getting a copy of this report, and he said to write it down. Which I am now doing. I called back on Jerry's cell phone, asking once again for Diane. I told her that she was making it way easier for us, by

On the way home, I called my old friend Steve White, Executive Director of PP in the Hudson Valley, and tattled. First we discussed the fact that we are both aging rapidly (I've known him for 15 years; tried to convert him. Futile. So I send him a Christmas card every year, and use our “relationship” to keep his staff in line. The last time, the deathscorts in Poughkeepsie were deliberately abusing J.S. Bach, by playing him as loud as possible to drown us out.I told Steve that I would call the police, since the blaring music (grand as it is) was breaking Poughkeepsie's noise ordinance.

I told the girls I would be back earlier on next Wednesday, with more ammunition.

STOPP Report - Back to McWeenies July 27, 2003

Jerry and I returned to St. Martin dePorres for their 5pm Mass. Prior to this, got a copy of the church's bulletin from the week before. Fr. Brian McWeeney had written a long “pro-life” column (we wonder if this had anything to do with our other visitations, or just an example of what a heck of a “pro-life parish” this place is!). It had to do with voting, and our moral duty to vote for only those who stand for “pro-life” values. Then he went on to quote heavily from our wonderful American bishops, who, following the late, great Cardinal Bernadin, covered themselves in glory, and covered a more specific part of their Eminant bodies prophetically invoking the “Seamless Garment” ploy. That's where you crowd out the imminent and horrific deaths of the unborn by blowing smoke (I won't say it...) and fogging up the issue talking about a host of other “pro-life” issues - “As we (the bishops) stressed in our 1995 statement Political Responsibility, ‘The application of gospel values to real situations is an essential work of the Christian Community! (exclamation theirs - this is for the reader to know that they really, Mean It!!!)...Opposition to abortion and euthanasia does not excuse indifference to those who suffer from poverty, violence and injustice...’” Their Eminences continue, “Any politics of human dignity must seriously address issues of racism, poverty hunger, employment, education, housing and health care.” Goodness, I feel exhausted already!

Father Brian was so upset at our last visitation that he called Good Counsel, to ask if he was being singled out. Well, yes and no. We single out pastors who lack a clue about Pastoring; who are cowards, lazy, and culpably uninformed.

Does this sound harsh? Let me remind the reader that we have, in this Church, 35 years of this crap. We will be moving on, soon, but McWeeney is such a wee...I mean, perfect example of what's wrong with the Church, that we think we will be back at least one more time.

A Report and a Clarification from Mid-Hudson STOPP - Beacon ‘Butchertorium’ July 23, 2003

We went to Beacon today, again, as we will in the coming weeks. We were able to educate several people, including children, who are supposedly panicked by our signs! Several kids came over, curious. Jerry and I explained (along with Bonnie, Patsy, and Joe M.) what was going on inside - children are so close to the Kingdom because, as in the Emperor's New Clothes, they see reality, and aren't afraid to speak. I wonder how many kids have these pictures in their minds, kids who will someday replace us. Alex, a Latino youngster, wanted to call the police, and couldn't understand how such cruelty could be OK.

A Latino man, a neighbor of Patsy Kerr, spoke to us for a long time. We explained how the Latino population is being particularly targeted by PP. Our explanation of PP's custom of stripping men, fathers, of any control over their families hit a nerve.

He will be translating our literature into Spanish, and I will bring him what I have left of anti-PP Spanish literature.

Johanna wasn't there, but her spirit was; I gave out lots of pamphlets, running into the street.

We also noticed that PP has a security camera outside the building; I had fun mugging into it, and giving them close-ups of Tiny Tim. After a while, it was turned off...heh, heh. Joe Marianaccio said he felt led by Our Lord to be in Beacon today (normally he is in Poughkeepsie). It was so wonderful to have him there, and he said it's a permanent committment.

STOPP was founded by Jim Sedlak and myself. We split off when the demand became great for STOPP's services, and Jim formed National STOPP, retiring from IBM to run it. Unfortunately, he couldn't make a living doing the pro-life work full-time.

Judy Brown has been our friend for years, and offered Jim a position with American Life League (ALL). STOPP in Virginia is not affiliated with ALL, and is funded through them, and your donations, of course. However, Mid-Hudson STOPP has no connection with ALL, and never did. I have had people tell me that they are sending us all these donations, but actually they are sending them to ALL. We are seeing none of it.

I'd like to encourage you to support this local effort. Our expenses grow as do our activities. One Tiny Tim runs $75. The literature comes mostly from Life Dynamics, and the Spanish stuff from Heritage house.

We are fighting PP here, in your local schools, on your streets; two abortuaries, now. We have plans for the colleges as well.

Re: A Report and a Clarification . . .

Shortly prior to leaving for Arkansas Helen purchased another Tiny Tim which I utilized approx. 3 times a week. Despite applying the added protection of electrical tape to the perimeter of the sign, it is already showing wear. The $75 cost of that sign which Helen quoted represents less than half the expense of the sign. We are charged an additional $75 plus tax to have the backing applied. Due to our being a 52 week organization undeterred by inclement conditions, weather also takes a toll on our signs. Rarely do our signs last more than 6 months.

I have repaired most of the larger Malachi and Emily plastic signs three times each. Because of their size we were unable to fit them in our vehicles with backing on them, and therefor elected to roll them up. Although we were spared the expense of the backing, the signs frequently tear from the force of the wind. We have also distributed literally thousands of pamphlets. Our pamphlets contain 7 pages of important information printed on both sides of the paper. We were able to save money by writing up those pamphlets ourselves. However, the paper and ink alone represent for us a significant expense.

We are also in need of a camcorder to protect us from false accusation(s). If anyone has one they could provide us with it would be greatly appreciated.

STOPP at St. Martins (Fri. Jul 11, 2003)

On Monday, July 7, Jerry Moynihan and I brought the Truth to the good people at St. Martin de Porres Church in Poughkeepsie.

The reason for this visit was a “homily” given the day before by it's Pastor, Fr. Brian McWeeny. Father and I had an encounter a few years ago when I was handing out pamphlets to warn the parishioners about Planned Parenthood. Father came out of the church, bellowing at me (he bellows a lot). “This is a Pro-Life parish!!! you have no right to be here!” I responded that I was glad that this was a pro-life parish (this must mean there are parishes that are pro-abort, no?), but told him that this was specifically about PP's danger to children; sex ed, drugs and surgery to minors without parental knowledge or consent, etc. I asked him if he had ever warned his flock about PP. Of course, he hadn't. So I said, “Then it's up to me.” He disagreed. I politely told him that if he wasn't up to the task, I would have to continue. So I did.

His “homily” was about our mandate to be prophetic in today's world of injustice. He mentioned sweat shops, and 100 dollar sneakers, and peace, and a whole sorry list of issues dear to the hearts of Dan Rather and his ilk, as PC as you can get. Not one mention about the river of unborn blood. Nothing. Just the command to “stand up for your beliefs” as safely as possible. He did mention that doing so would not make us popular! So, Jerry and I filled in that considerable blank by bringing Malachi and Tiny Tim ( the 10 Cunningham ) to the 12:15 mass.

The response was overwhelmingly positive; many of the parishioners know me, and were positively gleeful. Several were not - one man said “You people are dead wrong”. I said, if you think abortion is good, then, Sir, you are excommunicated. Out came the staff from the rectory. Father Brian wasn't there, but had received calls of complaint, and directed us to vacate the premises (we were NOT on church property at any time). I told the secretary, “But we are just obeying Fr. Brian! His homily yesterday was about ‘standing up for your beliefs!’ So, we are.” We continued until Mass let out. I hope to return there tomorrow for the 5:30.

So many of us complain about the clergy. We at Mid-Hudson STOPP have decided to go a bit farther. If priests continue to betray the preborn and the Church herself, by their outrageous silence in the face of this holocaust, we will fill in. They will no longer be able to be at peace about two homilies a year.

Sting Update (Tue. Mar. 11, 2003)

Today, Jerry Moynihan, Associate Director of Mid-Hudson STOPP and I, met with DA Bill Grady and Bureau Chief Edward Whitsell. We laid out all the evidence we have against Mid-Hudson PP, including the transcript of the recording of Life Dynamics and MHPP. Both gentlemen were receptive, and open to the information. Yet, this will be an uphill battle; PP hides behind glitches in the Law (as well as under rocks) to protect their business. Bill, whom I've known for over 20 years, (taught his kids piano - what else is new?) explained what he felt to be constraints on his ability to initiate an investigation; yet he promised that he would let us know HOW to operate and go forward, as he does the research.

One thing he made really clear; if PP had not shut down Saland's bill, PP would be indicted easily.

Several things were accomplished; we demonstrated that this will not be over until these little girls exploited by PP are protected. Also, that we had a firm grip on the issues (removing the "fringe" suspicion). Bill has promised to read all our information, and to get back to us, with advice.

The next step is an appointment with Steve Saland (whom I've ALSO known for 20 years; taught his kids piano). The latest report on his new bill is not encouraging, and Jerry and I are going to demand a meeting with him.

Please understand that there is no way we are going to drop this, until PP is held to account. We all need to pray for ultimate success in this fight.

Today's (Sept. 27, 2002) Poughkeepsie Journal printed the story on D&X abortion, ignoring all the medical facts I supplied (from the AMA News), and most of our comments. Spencer Ainsley, the photog, called me yesterday to tell me that he urged the editorial board to show the pictures. As you will see from the article, they didn't. To add insult to injury, the second page highlighted Jennifer Shagan of the failed Dutchess County NOW.

Our next move is as follows; I suggest doing our Wednesday thing at the Poughkeepsie Journal, Market street; same time, and in force. this time, nothing but abortion signs.

Update (9/17/2002)

This will allow us to pay bills incurred while we were trusting in Scripturewall - It's director seems to believe that money given to STOPP now belongs to Scripturewall, making it impossible for us to meet these bills. We know now that we had nothing to fear, since our Patron, St. Michael, has been at work, insuring:

With the years I have left, all I desire is to fight this fight against those who hate Life, and then naturally, are forced to hate it's Author. My whole life, my biography, has been my roadmap - from almost dying from abortion to almost dying from abuse and neglect - it is those things that silence the pro-aborts. Never would I have chosen this; but God was with me all the time, and expects a return from my survival; this I promise; no matter what, or who, I will give back to Him what I have received - life. And the meaning that comes with the stories we all have.

I deeply thank all who have stuck with me through this crisis. I was temporaliy stunned into inaction. Those who disagree with my methods, I understand. Those who agree, I ask for action. Never though, was it my intention to divide us. The winner, if this succeeds, is only satan.
